Manifold GIS manual for municipal use

Some time ago I had mentioned I was working a manual for the Geographic Information System (GIS) implementation using Manifold GIS. After my advice, several had commented their interest in the document, so given that such initiatives should be popularized for use by others, who will improve and provide feedback; here it is published only for reference and not for download via Scribd.

The document is structured around the index listed below, and at the end has examples developed by technicians who were trained while developing the guide. So my thanks to them, and to the technicians who participated in drafting, which on the fly, took some contents of this blog, that’s why it appears in the bibliography. I also appreciate the patience of those who were consulting for the paper.

For now there are people working in a practical guide that explains step by step how was made the project reflected in this document.
